Payouts and fees
What does Sortida take per ticket?
The platform fee is currently 8% of the ticket price, deducted automatically before the rest is sent to your connected Stripe account. Stripe's own card-processing fees apply on top.
When do payouts arrive?
Your payout schedule is set inside your Stripe Connect dashboard. Default for new accounts in Romania is a 2-day rolling payout to your bank.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Free events are free for you. We only earn when a paid ticket sells.
Ticketing
Can I keep using my existing vendor (iabilet, Eventim)?
Yes — paste the vendor URL in the event editor and Sortida will show a "Buy on iabilet" button instead of running our own checkout. You can run hybrid (both Sortida tickets and an external link) if you want.
How does door scanning work?
Each ticket is a separate scannable instance. Open Door scan on your event, point your phone camera at the buyer's QR. Works on iOS Safari, Firefox, and Chrome — no extra hardware.
What happens with refunds?
Buyers can request a refund from inside their ticket. You see the request in the dashboard and approve or decline. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe automatically.
Venue setup
How do I claim a venue that's already listed?
Open the venue page on Sortida and tap "Claim this venue". We verify ownership before unlocking the dashboard — usually within 24 hours.
Can I invite teammates?
Yes, from Dashboard → Team. Each teammate gets their own login; you can revoke access at any time.
Discovery
How do I get more reach?
Three levers: (1) publish events 7+ days out, (2) add a strong cover image and clear category tags, (3) consider a paid boost from the Promotions tab — boosts pin you to the top of the relevant category feed.
