Partner Terms of Service

These Partner Terms apply when your venue or organisation lists a venue or event on Sortida Partners and (optionally) sells tickets through us. They sit alongside the consumer Terms of Service and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement that applies because we use Stripe Connect to process payments.

You must control the venue you list, or have explicit permission to act for it. You're responsible for keeping your venue's details, your team's accounts, and your event listings accurate and up to date. Sortida may remove or suspend listings that mislead users.

Listings must be truthful and lawful. No counterfeit goods, no age-restricted content shown to under-18s, no hateful or discriminatory copy, no events that breach venue licences or local rules. We can take down listings that don't meet these standards.

When you enable paid ticketing, Sortida charges a platform fee (currently 8% of the ticket price). The fee is deducted from each payment via Stripe Connect; you receive the rest, minus Stripe's own processing fees. Payouts land on the schedule set in your Stripe dashboard.

You set your own ticket prices, capacity caps, and refund policy. You remain the merchant of record for the ticket and the seller of the experience.

We may withhold a payout if there is a credible dispute, suspected fraud, or a chargeback investigation — only for as long as the issue requires.

You handle refund decisions. Sortida surfaces refund requests for you and processes the refund through Stripe once you approve. Chargebacks are subject to Stripe's dispute process; we'll help with evidence but the financial outcome follows Stripe's decision.

When someone buys a ticket to your event, we share their display name and the ticket type with you so you can run the door. Their email isn't visible by default; you can request it for legitimate ops reasons (e.g. cancellation notice) and we'll send via mail merge so you don't receive a raw list. Don't use buyer data for marketing unless they opted in via your own form.

You can stop using Sortida Partners at any time. We can terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if Stripe terminates your connected account. Future payouts owed to you are sent on the next scheduled cycle.

Sortida's total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for venue/event operating losses, loss of profit, or third-party damages caused by your event.

Nothing limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that mandatory law says can't be limited.

These Partner Terms are governed by Romanian law; disputes go to the courts of Bucharest.
